What first attracted you to your partner?
Peter: Alex is perfect, exactly the person I set out to find when joining, and to think she had to be talked in to joining then almost deleted my email until her mum convinced her to give me a go! Fate obviously wanted us to meet.
How did your relationship progress?
Alexandra: Over the next few weeks Peter and I kept emailing each other and eventually he asked me to meet up with him. I had my reservations at first, worried about safety and what exactly I would say to someone I had never met. Then, very randomly, I went to a wedding in Hockley Heath and the wedding photographer was... Peter. I couldn't believe it! I didn't go and say hello but watched from afar, as soon as I got home I text him to say that I would love to meet up.
Peter: After being together for a year and a half, on Alex's birthday after a day in Warwick I had arranged a surprise night at a hotel called Coombe Abbey where just before dinner I walked her round to the old moat and proposed to her.
What plans do you have for your relationship in the future?
Alexandra: We are living together and are busy arranging our wedding which will be next March.
What message would you like to send to people still in search for their soul mate?
Alexandra: DatingDirect.com has allowed two people whose lives had crossed over in so many ways, to actually meet up and find happiness and companionship for the rest of our lives.
